The inspiration behind this illustration/t-shirt design came from the Iron Dragon at Cedar Point. I wanted to illustrate the transition from the roller coaster itself to an actual iron dragon. I also wanted to show movement, and I emulated that with the swinging roller coaster cars and the dragon flying into the foreground. This was drawn by hand and painted in Adobe Photoshop. My initial sketch is below.
