Mean Streak was a wooden roller coaster that operated at Cedar Point from 1991 to 2016. It was rebuilt in 2018 and re-profiled with steel track and a wooden structure and renamed Steel Vengeance. I prefer the look of the vintage Mean Streak Logo to the right compared to the new Steel Vengeance logo shown below, so I was inspired to update the original logo with the new name.

There is not a Mean Streak font, so I drew the words “Steel Vengeance” myself. I wanted to give the words a steel texture but keep some of the original coloring in the background. I put a chrome design on the letters I drew and I textured the clouds in the background.

I converted the project into a t shirt design to wear to amusement parks. Fans of the Cedar Point roller coaster recognize the logo reference to the old ride and my family and I receive multiple compliments a day when we wear the shirt.
