Narnia Typography Project

I was inspired to create the above illustration by a quote from my favorite book. I wanted to create something visually appealing that I could hang as art or wear on a t shirt. To the left is the final sketch that I scanned to trace over. This was a great typography exercise for me because I explored a lot of different layout ideas before settling on this one. I also studied different types of cursive fonts to help develop the final product. Below is another slight variation of the design. I created the galaxy texture for the final design above in Adobe Photoshop.
